A.Vogel Neem Care Insect Repellent doesn’t harm clothing or spectacle frames, as with some other repellents. It can be used on children too, as long as it is applied by an adult and their Eyes are covered before spraying around the head.
What is Neem?
Neem is a natural herb that comes from the Azadirachta Indica, or Neem Tree. As a tree in the mahogany family Meliaceae, it has a long history of use in Indian culture and Ayurvedic medicine. A.Vogel Neem Care Insect Repellent contains an extract of Neem seed oil known as Margosa.
Is Neem oil a good Insect Repellent?
It has long been known that Neem can act as an insect repellent – it was traditional practice to add a few Neem leaves to rice stored in homes to repel insects and other similar creatures. Neem oil repels insects by interfering with insect hormone systems, making it harder for them to lay eggs. It is also believed that Neem oil may kill insects by thwarting their ability to feed.
Directions:
As an insect repellent, apply A.Vogel Neem Care Insect Repellent onto exposed areas every three hours or as required.
Caution:
- Avoid contact with eyes.
- Avoid when pregnant due to essential oils.
