My baby has eczema, can you help?

Yes! If your baby has dry skin, or suffers from Eczema, you should check out our Baby & Child Skincare page, which contains products that are free from perfumes and fragrances. These natural alternatives include bland, fragrance-free, soap-free, bath emollients, emollient creams and ointments that contain Essential Oils or plant extracts instead.

I'm considering changing over from breastfeeding to bottle feeding, so how does organic formula milk differ to the conventional brands?

First of all, if you are considering changing over from breastfeeding or combining breast and bottle feeding, you should seek the medical consultation of your midwife, doctor or health visitor.

In most cases, all formula milks are made to have around the same amount of fats, carbohydrates, protein, Energy (calories), and Vitamins and Minerals. In addition to the core ingredients, all formulas contain extra ingredients (LCPs, nucleotides & prebiotics), most of which are the same across all the brands. How conventional and organic formula milks differ is the way in which their base ingredients have been farmed, for example; the vegetables for Oils grown need to meet the criteria to be Certified Organic.

In the UK, the composition of all infant and follow-on formula's are strictly controlled under government regulations. So whether it's Holle or Hipp, Kabrita or Nanny Care, the choice is ultimately down to you (the parent), and what best suits the needs of your baby.
