Eat Real Straws are the healthier alternative to regular Crisps & Savoury Snacks. They contain a selection of vegetable seasonings, which include Kale - a group of vegetable cultivars from the plant Brassica oleracea.
Kale is considered to be one of the healthiest and most Nutrient dense plant Foods available, which contains very little fat. In fact the largest portion of fat found within kale is alpha linolenic acid (the 'good' omega-3 fatty acid).
The most common type of kale is known as 'Scots Kale', which has green, curly leaves, and like other leafy greens, it is a rich source of Antioxidants too. These antioxidants can be found in various polyphenols and flavonoids, along with beta-carotene and Vitamin C.
