Just Natural Organic Flaked Almonds are essentially Just Natural Organic Almonds Blanched 125g that have been shaved into thin flakes. And while they maybe a ready to eat snack, they are best served when sprinkled over yoghurt, Porridge & Oats or granola.
Are flaked almonds as good as whole?
No, not quite. While Just Natural Organic Flaked Almonds contain the same nutrients as whole Almonds, such as Iron, Calcium and Vitamins B & E, they are in lower quantities. Almond flakes are also free of the beneficial polyphenols found within the skin of the Almond.
