Lamberts Colladeen Maximum Strength

Lamberts Colladeen Maximum Strength 60 Tablets are still the most potent anthocyanidin formula available, providing a full 160mg of anthocyanidins (from extracts of bilberries and grapeseed) per tablet. Collagen health is greatly dependent on the nutrients in our diet such as Vitamin C and research indicates that anthocyanidins play an active role in protecting the body’s collagen. This is why both Lamberts Colladeen Maximum Strength and Lamberts Colladeen Derma Plus 60 Tablets include levels of anthocyanidins that reflect this research.

Lamberts Colladeen Maximum Strength is one of the richest sources of anthocyanidins on the market and is currently used by 70% of Lamberts practitioners. Anthocyanidins are a fascinating family of compounds found in dark skinned fruits, berries and even pine bark. Scientists studying these particular plant compounds have focused much of their work around the role they play in helping to support the health of collagen. Collagen is the most abundant protein in the Body and it is the protein that forms connective fibres in tissues such as Skin, ligaments, cartilage, muscles and capillaries. When collagen is damaged (by free radicals, sunlight etc) tissues can lose their strength and elasticity.

What is Collagen?

Collagen is the most abundant protein in the human body. It is found in cartilage, ligaments, tendons elastic tissue, connective tissue and the structural tissue in bones. It also works with muscles and the blood system.

Collagen is an amazing protein that forms inside and outside the body's cells. When formed outside a cell, it becomes part of a network structure or collagen fiber. The collagen inside the cell is created and then sent, via a process called exocytosis, outside the cell to where it is needed. When collagen formation is slowed, stopped or curbed in some manner, diseases of the skin and other areas of the body can develop. The best way to replace and boost collagen is to boost its formation internally. Vitamin A, vitamin C, Copper, Manganese, silicon and Zinc, all aid in collagen formation and metabolism. However, extreme doses of these Vitamins and Minerals have not yet been medically proven to boost collagen formation.
