What is Proven Probiotics Lactobacillus & Bifidus for Breast Fed Babies?

A specially formulated, powdered Food Supplement for babies 0+, which helps establish intestinal and immune health in the first year of life.

Why is healthy gut bacteria important to babies & infants?

It is now recognised that healthy gut bacteria are just as important to infants and toddlers as to adults and that the establishment of a robust population of friendly microflora as soon after birth as possible is critical in driving the development of a healthy immune and intestinal function. Maintenance of this beneficial bacteria during the early years of life is also important. This microflora is influenced during Pregnancy, childbirth and breast-feeding, but modern living conditions, which are more sterile and bacteria free, may inhibit or slow down the natural development of the normal flora, particularly for young children.

Why is adequate vitamin intake particularly important for babies & infants?

Adequate vitamin intake is especially critical for babies & infants to ensure they develop and grow healthily. As some babies & infants can be fussy eaters, it may be useful to supplement their diet to ensure they have an adequate intake of Vitamins and Minerals.
