Camu Camu is a shrub that grows in swampy or flooded areas of the Amazon Rain Forest and the fruit and leaves have been used as medicine for many years. It has been used for viral infections such as shingles, herpes, cold sores and the common cold and it is also thought to increase energy and assist in the maintenance of healthy gums, eyes and skin by stimulating the immune system.
