Lamberts Gentle Vitamin C 500mg 100 Tablets provide Vitamin C in a gentle non-acidic form known as Calcium ascorbate.
Vitamin C is also known as ascorbic acid, a safe and essential nutrient that cannot be stored in the Body and therefore requires daily consumption. A lack of vitamin C may result in a condition called scurvy, where symptoms include Fatigue, joint pain and bruising.

Who can take Lamberts Gentle Vitamin C?
The active ingredient in Lamberts Gentle Vitamin C, calcium ascorbate, is believed to be softer on the stomach than ascorbic acid, which when in a solution is quite acidic! What does Vitamin C do?

How much Vitamin C should I take?
An individuals daily requirement for vitamin C is higher than for any other water-soluble vitamin. Ideally, vitamin C needs to be taken in small amounts throughout the day and night because it is rapidly lost from the Body.
Up to 2g of vitamin C can be taken with Lamberts Gentle Vitamin C (4 tablets), and if this amount is being consumed Lamberts advise that tablets are spread out through the day. Each Lamberts Gentle Vitamin C 500mg tablet makes a valuable contribution to an individual’s calcium intake, providing over 70mg of calcium if they are taking several tablets per day.
Directions:
Take 1 to 4 Lamberts Gentle Vitamin C 500mg 100 Tablets daily, or as directed practitioner or pharmacist.
Disintegration Time: Less than 1 hour.
